Ergonomic Monitor

The placement of the ergonomic monitor is crucial to having a well setup ergonomic workstation. The main aspects of the monitor is that it is at least arms distance away and so that you are looking in the top 1/3rd of the screen. A lot of monitors these days are adjustable, which make getting them in the correct position easy. If you do not have an adjustable monitor you may require a monitor stand or something to elevate the screen.

There are some other factors relating to the monitor that you should consider when setting it up. These are glare, brightness and contrast. Ensure that you do not have excessive glare on your screen. If you are sitting near a window – make sure that you draw the blinds. Also be aware that your screens brightness and contrast etc are adjustable – so adjust them to suit your eyes.
